SENSOJII

Sensoji is Tokyo’s oldest Budhist temple. The simplicity of this box represents Sensoji and the art of Japanese architectural simplicity. Made of wood with a tiered lid that would be reminiscent of a thatched roof, it is unfinished and left natural helping the viewer to appreciate the wood and further see the connection with nature.
