LGBTQ+ YOUTH HOMELESSNESS

This collection represents the homeless LGBTQ community. A community that is sadly growing at an expansive rate. One in thirty children in the United States is Homeless and 42% of them are LGBTQ youths. This collection brings light to their colorful, free spirited mentality that’s hopeful in spite of certain dire situations. The text and graphics represent the protest around the country that helps to promote and shine light on a subject minimized by others yet brought to light by the many homeless LGBTQ youths around the country and their plight to find Love, acceptance, food and shelter. I personally don’t understand how this happens when in the United States where there is 5x more housing than homeless people.
